Welcome to Bath
.
.
City Of Bath was just another hour of bus ride from Stonehenge. I was seriously amazed by the awesome view of Bath City and their architecture is indescribable. The whole city has its own beauty and it is so different from anywhere else that I’ve ever seen In My Life!

The moment we reached, we headed to the world famous “Bath” and it is originally a roman settlement built around some hot spring. They have lots of historical stuff and information about the Bath but unfortunately we weren’t given much time to spent there and go through the historical in detail.

The most famous and fascinating of all things is the natural hot spring roman bath and one of the reason is because the water is naturally hot around 40 degrees, and we were told not to touch it because it may be toxic. So, we just enjoy ourselves by taking lots of pics!

Then, we went around the city and they have nice shopping street and restaurant. While we were looking out for places to have lunch, we spotted a “Cornish Bake house” and there were lots of people queuing for their famous award winning Cornish Pasties. So, we hopped in and get ourselves one of those and they tasted good!

After lunch, we had ice-cream for second round because there were lots of ice-cream shops around and it made us craving for it. Then, the bus picked us up at 3.45pm and then it took us to the bath coliseum which is a really nice place but we had only 5 minutes to spent there and take pictures, so we had to be real quick!

Finally, it was time to leave the dream city and it took us four hours to get back to King Cross underground. By the time we reached there it was already eight at night and we were all tired but still we had to take underground back to Oakwood. Great and unforgettable trip!!!

Good morning London!!!
.
I got up at six in the morning and got myself ready for the one day trip to Stonehenge and bath city. It was my first time waking up so early since the day I arrived in UK and I felt truly excited for the trip! At times, I blamed myself for ranting about waking up early at 8.30am to attend lectures but never rant about getting myself up at 6am for vacation.

Three of us, Kaka, sis and me went out at 6.40am and we took a 20 minutes walked along the snakes lane from Uni to Oakwood underground station because the Uni bus service is available only at 8am. Then, we took underground to King Cross and change to Baker Street using metropolitan line.

We reached Baker Street 20 minutes earlier around 7.50am and we went McD to grab some breakfast. The tour bus came and picked us up in front of Starbucks at 8.10am sharp and there we go, our journey to Stonehenge and City of Bath!!! It took us 2 hours to reach Stonehenge and the bus stopped by some resting area for 15 minutes and I just love the resting area here because they have nice cafe with varieties of food.

Stonehenge is located at country side, and along the way to Stonehenge, the awesome view and nice green scenery made me felt as though I was having sweet dreams. I never see such beautiful scenery In My Life!!! Stonehenge is the world famous outstanding prehistoric monument in the British Isles and it is a world heritage site. It is believe that Stonehenge has been 5000 years ago.....so we definitely must pay a visit to it!!!

We reached Stonehenge around 11am and there were lots of tourist there. We were really lucky that the weather was really nice on that day but it was too windy until I couldn’t hold my camera firmly when taking photos. We spent an hour there by taking loads of pictures and left the place around noon, then we headed to our next destination which is “The City of Bath”!!!

Quantum of Solace...hmm....
After I practice my piano for two hours, I went to Enfield Cineworld with Loke Shen and sis to watch Quantum of Solace. We took a bus there and reach around 5.30pm. There were quite a lot of people queuing to buy tickets and we bought the one at 6.10pm. It cost 5.50 pounds per ticket for student.

It was my first visit to a cinema in London and the cinema here is free seating, so we had to queue in order to get a good seat. We went in the cinema around 6pm and the movie actually started 20 minutes later at 6.30 because of the long winded advertisement.

I really love the cinema here because the seat is spacious and comfortable, but we were really disappointed with the entire movie because it was not really interesting and the story line wasn’t nice. Anyway, the movie ended at 8.15pm and three of us were starving! So we walked to the nearest McD for dinner because there were nothing much to eat.

Crazy game night!!!
After dinner, four of us got nothing to do so we decided to play some games. Firstly, KaKa brought out her “Jumbo” cards and the moment we saw it, all of us burst out laughing like crazy because we never see such huge deck playing cards ever!

After playing few rounds of Jumbo Cards, we borrowed “Monopoly” from Jessica. It’s the latest version of monopoly featuring world edition and it is played by using credit cards instead of paper cash. It is really high-tech and interesting to play as well.

We spent four hours playing the long winded game but it was fun. Then, we played some other card game called “heart attack” and that was freaking crazy because the loser for each round have to tie hair, and with pictures taken and posted on facebook as a punishment. Anyway, each of us took turns to lose and everyone had to tie........

This entry was three weeks ago when sis, Kaka and me supposed to go out at 10am sharp to meet Loke Shen at Southgate station. I overslept and woke up at 10.15am because my hand phone alarm didn’t ring, and it was because I set it on “pm” instead of “am”.

So, I called Loke Shen and told him we will meet him at 11.15pm and luckily he hasn’t come out yet. So, we quickly get ourselves done and went out around 11pm. Firstly, we headed to Malaysian Hall because we miss Malaysian food and we were craving for Nasi Lemak!

After lunch, we headed to Chappell at Central London which is a huge music shop and it sells lots of music books, instruments and it has lots of Yamaha grand pianos over there! We were glad that we found some music scores which we need it for our assignment. Then, we took underground again to South Kensington and took a long walk across Hyde Park to visit the Royal Albert Hall. The weather was really bad and we just couldn’t take any pictures because it was raining. How I wish the weather could be better......

The weather wasn’t getting any better but still, we walked again with our umbrella from Royal Albert Hall to Natural History Museum. .
.
.
.
.
Perfecto!
.

This is scary....
.

After we left the museum, we headed to another destination which is Camden Town because they had lots of shops open at night. So, we had to take underground again from South Kensington and change a few station to Camden Town. It was really confusing because we had to keep on changing station.

There were pretty much to see in Camden Town but because of the bad weather, most of the shops were closed. So, we bought our dinner from some stall selling Chinese food but it didn’t taste as good as the one in Enfield. Then, we had wafer for our second round! It was really a bad weather day and tiring day but thanks to our tour guide, Loke Shen for bringing us around!

After dinner, I got myself ready for Halloween party which will be on at 8pm at Student Union Bar. I didn’t dress up as anything because I can’t imagine me myself dressing in any sort of Halloween Costumes with heavy makeup. So, I just tried to dress up as simple and ready to check out how others dress up.

Around 8pm, Loke Shen and I went down to the lobby to meet Arvin, Ben, Brindha and Hyukin and we went S.U Bar together. I was surprise that there were lots of people already queuing outside S.U Bar waiting to get in and the weather outside was really cold. The tickets were all sold out and some of them were already dress up but doesn’t have any tickets to get in. After queuing for nearly 15 minutes, we were finally allowed to go in and the security was really tight and besides checking our entrance tickets, they checked our bags and body check to make sure we didn’t bring anything that we were not allowed to bring in.

Tuesday is my most tiring day of all days. I had classes to attend from 1.30pm to 6pm but luckily it was more on practical side rather than heavy lectures. At first, me myself couldn’t believe that it was snowing but I was pretty sure I saw beautiful snowflakes falling from the sky. It was really weird to snow at this time because it was not even winter yet and even it is winter time, chances of London snowing is pretty low. So...I guess it was a miracle and we were really lucky to experience it.

Okay I slept at almost 3am a night before because I was chatting online and watching some Hong Kong drama....and I just love it!!! So....I actually planned to wake up at 11am but guess what? Actually, I was still feeling tired and sleepy but couldn’t help it but to wake up and go shopping because it’s weekend! Before I went out, I manage to chat with some of my relatives on webcam for just 10 minutes because my parents went back to Taiping and my brother brought his notebook along. I was really happy to see them and I just miss them so much!!!

Anyway, three of us went out around 11.15am and we took underground to Holdborn and change another underground to Bone Street. We shop around Oxford Street and the place is really shopping heaven!!! They have lots of famous, huge and high class departmental stores such as Debenhams, John Lewis and Selfridge. Most of the stuff there were all luxury and there were lots of lots of people shopping. It was crazy at times!

After walking for hours, we were craving for some Japanese food and we wanted to try out some Japanese buffet but we couldn’t find any. So...we went to the famous Agnus Steak House and try out the western food there.

Then, we went to HSBC bank because Mun Ka’s account is still not open yet after so long and the lady said we have to wait for about an hour....so we went to try out some London Kebabs! Actually, it was my first time having kebab in my life because I never had it before in Malaysia....or maybe I do but I didn’t realize.

We were in the kebab shop for more than an hour chatting with the shop manager while enjoying our kebab and he is really nice to treat us free drinks and ask us to choose any drinks. So we just pay for the kebab which is 3.50 pounds and it was kind of huge and it taste good.

Two weeks ago, I went to Laura’s room party for the first time and her room is just few rooms away from mine. So I just went over to her room after dinner to check out what’s happening there. Basically, she invited everyone from the same floor but not everyone went to the party.

It was just some chilling session with music and I guess the party haven’t really started. Then, the other gang decided to go for some walk and hang out at Uni compound and so I left the party and went to hang out with the people!

Late nights, Morning lectures......
Assignment and presentation came across my mind and I got really stress up. I never felt that kind of stress before ever since I started to pursue in music education. I know I have to face the fact that assignments and presentations are part of my degree but I do not understand why I couldn’t handle those pressures that keep on pushing into my mind.

Anyway, after my last lecture finished at 4pm, me, sis and Mun Ka went to Uni compound and take loads of pictures at the lake side. The view is awesome and I felt so much more relax after taking pictures and posing for cameras. It helps me to release stress and freeze my mind from thinking of any assignments and presentation.

We spent more than an hour taking hundreds of pictures and finally got back to prepare dinner. We had spaghetti and it tasted really nice! After dinner, we went Asda as usual and bought lots of food stuff.
