Lately, I really love to force myself to do something which I think it is quite impossible at first. I forced myself to perform one of the Gershwin preludes during one of the performance session. With the force, it motivates me to spend more time to practice. I would have to say that it is quite a virtuosic piece to play and I was really happy to memorize and learn everything in five days. I managed to play through everything without break down but still, the piece is still not up to the performing standard yet. One thing that made me very happy was, my lecturer and piano tutor said I can be the Gershwin expert. Lol.....

After the tiring day, I went dinner with the girls and we went to the nearby Indian restaurant at Oakwood. It was my first time having Indian food in London. The restaurant has a nice and romantic environment but the service was really slow that night even there was just four of us and nobody else dining there.

We waited really long for the food to be served but it doesn’t matter because we enjoyed the companies. We ordered pretty much that night and were surprised that the dishes came out pretty good. It made me couldn’t sleep the entire night. “Kidding”

The thing that made me couldn’t sleep the entire night was the next morning I will be working with dancers in Middlesex Uni itself as a ballet pianist! I was really blurred and I do not know what am I supposed to do in their training session because I haven’t done anything like this before. Anyway, it was seriously my first time knowing that there is actually “Ballet Pianist” in dancer’s world. I should have obtained more knowledge about it.
