Big Warm Congratulation to my sister on her graduation day!!!
Well, was held at Sunway Hotel. By looking at all the graduates, the ceremony reminds me of my happy graduation day. It was thankful that I am able to attend the ceremony since I wasn’t feeling very well for a couple of days due to the weather in Malaysia.

This time, we have our professional photographer who is Dominic. Great pics he captures! We headed to Monash Uni for our own photography session. Then, proceed to Sunway Pyramid for lunch at Dragon-I. Since all of us were not in the mood for shopping, we just hang around and decided to have some desserts for the second round. Sadly, it is not the honeydew melon that I wanted, it does not taste good.

After a gathering at 1U, I headed to PJ to meet the gang for dinner. It has been a while since we sat down and have a good chat together. Three of us, Teck, Lily and I reached there pretty early and we waited at this cafe known as “Little Dim Sum’ at SS2 for the rest to arrive.

The weather was no good and it was raining cats and dogs. So, everyone was stuck in the heavy traffic. The moment everyone arrived, we ordered some Dim Sum and main dishes. I would say the food there was just okay and the service was real bad. It took ages for our fried rice to be served.

That night, our table was the noisiest among all and had a great night chatting and cracking jokes. We sat there for nearly four hours and we left for our second round which is just few doors away. Since we were all craving for sago desserts, so we headed to K.T.Z for the desserts. It was my second time there and I think they have the best sago desserts so far!

Sushi Zenmai at 1U! Well, I used to go there quite often before I leave to UK. But ever since I got back to Malaysia, this is my first time going back there for Japanese food with some friends. We had our lunch there and I would say the sushi there doesn’t taste as good as my last visit.

After walking around, we headed for dessert at one of a shop known as “Honey” and it is located at 1U new Wing. They have all and different kinds of hot/cold ‘Tong Sui’ desserts there. Their menu looks pretty tempting and too many varieties of desserts to choose from. The only thing they do not have in their menu is my favourite “Honeydew Sago” and that was disappointing. Their desserts are quite nice and I would recommend to all my dear readers to check it out. Then, I headed to PJ for the next gathering and I’ll post it on the next entry. Cheers!

Japanese food! It has been a month I did not have any Japanese food. I miss it! Back in Malaysia, my friends recommend me a Japanese Restaurant known as ‘Umai-Ya’ and so we went there for the buffet lunch. It is located at Uptown, PJ. The buffet lunch session is at the price of rm 48++ per adult and so it comes to around rm 56 per person.

Ever since I went back to Malaysia, mum has been cooking all her great home cooked dishes for dinner. I realized I am crazily in love with home cook food nowadays rather than eating outside. Anyway, it has been a year I did not visit ‘Good Evening Bangkok’ for Thai food. My dad is absolutely a big fan of that Thai restaurant in 1U. So we went there for dinner! I have captured some pics on some of the dishes and they taste pretty good though. I do think the Tom Yam soup taste great just as the one in ‘Just Thai’! If you ever visit ‘Good Evening Bangkok, I will surely recommend you to try their ‘Otak Otak in Young coconut’. It tastes awesome!

Museum Mania! I am glad that I finally paid a visit to Malaysia’s museum (Museum Negara) with the girls. When all of us were in London, we promise to meet up and make a trip to KL Museum. The reason was, we had been to several museums in London such as British Museum, Hollytree Museum (in Colchester), London Transport Museum, Science Museum and Natural history Museum. Yet, all of us have not been to our beloved Museum Negara and I do really think we should check it out :)

We decided to meet at our so called ‘old place’ since most of us doesn’t know how to get to the museum. I apologized for being late again! The architecture of the museum is pretty nice; however the Museum wasn’t very huge. It has only four sections but the exhibits in the museum are pretty much organized and nicely display. We just need to pay a small amount of entrance fee for the museum. There were also quite a number of tourists there.

Finally!!! I get to make a trip back to Taiping to visit my grandma and my relatives. I certainly miss them so much and decided to spend a few days with them. I apologized since I had to reject and postpone some of the gatherings and movies with most of you. However, it was great for me to get away from the City for a couple of days.

That night, managed to meet up with some friends for dinner at 1U except Teck couldn’t join us that night. Yes?!? Is 1U again, the official gathering place for me. Is great to see everyone and as usual, we could not decide where to have our dinner. Initially, we went to New York Deli and we actually sat down. However, everyone was much more interested in catching up rather than looking at what is tempting in the menu.

My second day in Malaysia is great although I am still having jetlag. While I was still in bed, I received messages from my dear friends asking for meet up. My six weeks holiday in Malaysia begin here. The day when I arrived in Malaysia, I was extremely tired and was having jet lag. I could remember I slept at eight in the morning and had to wake up three hours later for a gathering at Sunway Pyramid since I had promise to meet up with some friends. This means, I managed to sleep for only three hours. On that day itself, I had to drive without music at all because my mp3 modulator wasn’t functioning. ‘ I miss driving’

We had lunch at Pasta Zenmai and it was my first time there and I guess it is a pretty new place. The setting is the same as Sushi Zenmai.
It has been five years since I meet up with my music friends. I felt really bad for not being able to meet up with them each time they call me up. So, I had to make sure I catch up with them this time and I was late for an hour due to some delay. Anyhow, it was great to see all of them again after so long. After dinner, I received some calls from my high school’s friends asking me to join them at the mamak near my house and so I went. It was great to see them and knowing Eu Jin gonna pursue his studies in the UK this September as well. We bump into some high schools class mate as well and I barely can recognize them. So tired, reach home around 1.30 am. ‘Bed time’

Home sweet home is seriously the best place to live on earth. It makes me realized that at all time; I had been living in a small room in London. Home sweet mum made me homemade steamboat for dinner on the next day I touched down Malaysia. It was great and it has been ages I did not have family reunion dinner!

Two months ago, I travelled back to Malaysia and I was feeling pretty ready to go back since I miss everyone and the food there. My stay in Colchester was wonderful and I would really love to express my gratitude to both my aunt and uncle for the hospitality especially preparing scrumptious food for me. To my cousin sister as well, I miss those crazy times, jokes and laughter we shared and of course little Jamie too!
Two months ago, I travelled back to Malaysia and I was feeling pretty ready to go back since I miss everyone and the food there. My stay in Colchester was wonderful and I would really love to express my gratitude to both my aunt and uncle for the hospitality especially preparing scrumptious food for me. On that day, my uncle and sister sent me to Heathrow Airport and the journey was around two hours from Colchester. The six hours flight from London to Dubai was tiring but it wasn’t boring. I waited for transit at Dubai International Airport for four hours but I managed to go online.

The next flight to Malaysia was seven hours journey as well. However, the food they served on the plane wasn’t that good as compared to the previous time. After the 14 hours flight in total, I touch down KLIA around 10 at night and I had my parents and brother to pick me up. It was great to see them!

In Colchester, my uncle brought all of us included little Jamie to Lakeside. It takes around an hour’s drive from Colchester. Lakeside is a shopping place and the shopping complex there is pretty huge. We had our lunch there and did some shopping. Great day!

It has been a while since my last visit to the zoo. It must be a few years back or it could be more. This summer, my aunt brought me, my cousin sis and little Jamie to Colchester Zoo. Colchester Zoo is very famous and it is recognized as one of the Europe’s finest Zoo. It has made me very interested to check out the place!

Since it was a Sunday, the zoo was pretty much pack with visitors. The entrance fee is rather expensive at 16 pounds per person but I thought it was quite worth it since the zoo is huge and really well maintained! They have different interesting sections for visitors to hang around.

Besides, they have much activities going on at the Zoo for example they have exhibition on certain animal’s skins, live animal show and we were also allowed to feed the animals like elephants, giraffes, rabbits and birds. It was fun to feed the giraffes and they are so adorable. Well, we spent around five hours at the Zoo and I believed we manage to cover almost every sections of the Zoo.

I love summer and I am deeply in love with the weather. I miss Colchester and I thought I’ll never miss London but I was erroneous. The feeling just came to me the moment I step back to those familiar places in London. It tells me how much I miss the place where great things and moment happened.

My cousin sis and I decided to make a daytrip down to London to meet up with the friends. We took the morning national express train from Colchester to Liverpool Street. From there, we spent an hour travelling to my Uni campus. The reason is I kind of miss the place and the fact is I will not be going back there to further my studies.

Then, we meet up with a few friends for lunch at one of the Italian restaurant known as “Story Deli”. Miren introduced the place to us and the ambience of the restaurant is pretty unique but they served only varieties of pizzas. Their pizza looks very presentable and different. However, it did not taste as great as it looks and it is pretty pricy as well.

After lunch, we hang out around Liverpool Street and Miren brought us to a vintage shop which sells all the classic and traditional clothes, dresses and accessories. The things there were sold at quite a reasonable price since they are all used stuff. The dresses there are perfect for typical parties!

London’s “Ripley’s Believe It or Not” which is located at Piccadilly Circus. The entrance fee is expensive at £ 21 per person but we managed to get a 2 for 1 since they have some promotion going on. We spent around three hours there and there are some very interesting things around but overall it was just okay. Then, we headed for dinner at Chinatown and I am so missing the chicken rice there. I am so.....

Hey guys, just to share some photographs of my handmade clay grand piano right here. I made it during my summer holiday since I am pretty free at Colchester. Initially, I couldn’t decide to paint it black or white in colour but anyway I thought it looks pretty good in white.
